Note to Self
Love is patient; love is kind.
Love doesn't boast or brag.
There's no arrogance in love;
it's never rude, crude, or indecent-it's not self absorbed.
Love isn't easily upset.
Love doesn't tally wrongs.
Love trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what.
Love will never become obsolete.
I'll fight for her.
Thief
Caleb Drake never got over his first love. Not when he got married. Not when she got married. When life suddenly comes full circle Caleb must decide how how far he is willing to go to get the aloof and alluring Olivia Kaspen back. But for every action in life there is a consequence, and soon Caleb finds out that sometimes love comes at an unbearably high price.

Stacy's Review
“Thief” by Tarryn Fisher
"Eventually. That word is so us, isn't it?...Eventually, we'll come back together, fall apart, come back together.”
First let me just say “Thief” is definitely a 5 star book and I am sooo beyond happy with it. I’ll be honest, I was worried about reading it when I saw the title release. Then when it downloaded to my kindle I was full of anticipation and excitement all wrapped up in a "what does she have in store for us" package.
"So, I fight. That's it. That's my only option. And if I don't get her, If she doesn't choose me. I'm going to be that guy - who spends his life alone and pining. Because I sure as hell am not going to replace her with any more Leahs or Jessicas or any-goddamn-body-else...It's Olivia or nothing.”
When I tapped the sexy little book cover on my phone and I froze. Yup. FROZE. I knew going in that there would be answers to questions from the first two books, “The Opportunist” and “Dirty Red” that I wanted, needed…these are questions that PLAGUED me months. Why would I freeze then? After waiting all that time and they’re finally right there? I was scared of what those answers would be and I didn’t know if my heart could take the truths that would be revealed.
"She has the kind of love that can stain your soul, make you beg not to have one, just to escape the spell she’s put you under. I’ve tried to break myself of her over and over, but it’s pointless. I’ve got more of her in my veins than blood…”
“Thief” is an absolutely amazing completion to the series and gave me everything I’ve come to love from the author.
"I tried to break her before. Now, I just wanted her as she was. I wanted every last beautiful flaw. I wanted the witty one-liners and the coldness that only I knew how to warm. I wanted the fight and the friction and the make-up sex. I wanted her to wake up in my bed every morning. I wanted her shitty cooking and her beautiful, complex mind.”
Tarryn Fisher doesn’t sugar coat happiness and give you everything you could hope for. She makes you live through the ugly so you’ll love the beautiful all that much more.

Author Bio:
I am a real life villain, truly. I drink sick amounts of Starbucks. Most of the time my hair smells like coffee. I was born in South Africa, and lived there for most of my childhood. I moved to Seattle just for the rain. Rome is my favorite place in the world so far, Paris comes in at a close second. I read and write more than I sleep. When I was eleven, I wrote an entire novel about runaway orphans, using only purple ink. I am addicted to Florence and the Machine and will travel to see concerts. I love scary movies and giraffes. I spend way too much time on Facebook. Meet you there?…

EXCLUSIVE TEASER CHAPTER SEGMENT of "Thou Shalt Not" by J. J. Rossum
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Good morning,” I
said, not wanting to stir her from her paper reading. But very much wanting to
also.
She turned around.
“Oh, hey you,” she
said with a sense of familiarity that made my nerves tingle. “Good morning
back.”
All she had to do
was smile and I swear I would have done anything she asked. Including commit
serious crimes.
“Is this your first
meeting?”
“No, I came to the
meeting on Tuesday also.”
“Oh, nice.”
She lowered her head
and her voice, “They are so much fun!”
This time I smiled.
Sarcasm almost always made me smile.
“Why are you sitting
back there?” she asked. “You’re dumb. Sit next to me.”
She patted the chair
to her right and I went straight for it, like a dog being called to the side of
its owner. There hadn’t even been a second thought, just an immediate response.
Surely, anyone paying attention would have thought I was pathetic.
Sitting next to her
brought the sensation of diving headfirst into the aforementioned lilies. She
wasn’t wearing too much perfume by any means, but what she had sprayed on was
severely dangerous to my brain.
The meeting better start soon or I can’t be held responsible for what I
do next.
