Blog Tour Stop for "Searching For Tomorrow" by Kathryn McNeill Crane

Some people are blessed to find that one certain person who completes them.

Wrynn’s yesterdays were what others only dream of having. She and Tripp were the best of friends before they even thought about love. They had the fairy tale life where ‘like’ turns into ‘love’, and ‘love’ becomes ‘happily ever after’.

What happens when life conspires against you, and snatches your soul mate from your arms?

…only her forever love ended much too soon.

Broken beyond her own ability to repair, Wrynn boxes up her grief and attempts to raise her three girls the best she can on her own. As time slowly passes, Wrynn relives her life with Tripp while struggling most days to get out of bed. She is reminded of him at every turn.

How do you set your grief and anguish aside? How do you pick up the shattered pieces, put those pieces back together again, and try to move on?

Wrynn tries to find the joy in life every single day through her daughters, family, and friends. Her twin brother Liam has dedicated himself to helping Wrynn put her life back together after losing his own love. On the other hand, her mother-in-law lives to torment her at every turn. Wrynn can't even find a chance to breathe, much less a desire to somehow search for her tomorrow.

If you are reading this, I think you should know that "About me" sounds so very pretentious to me. I guess that is what I am supposed to write about, so here it goes!

Kathryn is a simple country girl who likes to spend time with her hubba, hunka hubby, her three kids and her friends. She loves to cook and really loves to eat! During the spring and summer, you will more than likely find her outside puttering around in her garden. When the veggies start coming in, she will probably be sweating over a hot canner in the kitchen, canning all the goodies she is blessed with. Kathryn likes to hike and go camping, and as a Girl Scout leader, she gets to do this pretty often! On cold winter nights, you will probably find her wrapped in a warm blanket, lost in a good book, while sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch!

Kathryn was born and raised in North Carolina, and while she loves to travel, she can't imagine ever leaving the mountains that she has come to call home. Not a day goes by that Kathryn doesn't thank God for abundantly blessing her. He has been so good to her, and she is very grateful. She holds Jeremiah 29:11 very close to her heart and believes it with every fiber of her being. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Kathryn loves flip flops, chocolate, sweet tea and dirt between her toes. As far back as she can remember, she's had a book in her hand. Reading has carried her to places she will never go. It has introduced her to people that she will never meet. When life is great and when it is rough, she's always been able to find a book to carry her through. She finally decided to write down some of the stories in her head (yes, be scared) and heart after dawdling around and wasting years dreaming. She hopes you enjoy reading those stories as much as she loves writing them!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When I was younger I was never a fan of change. I had my mom fix me scrambled eggs before school every day, I literally picketed Christmas dinner the year my family started cooking steak and lobster(yeah I know... who would complain), and until I met my husband, who has a tendency to spoil me, I carried the same worn in fossil bag with every outfit.

As I have gotten older however, I have not only accepted change but grabbed it by the horns and rode it down the streets screaming an old irish song of victory. I now have a tendency to eat chocolate cake for breakfast and yes I eat the steak and lobster at Christmas dinner.

We are all told when we are younger that we can be anything we want to be. But no one ever tells us how scary it is to make a choice. So with having the attention span of a two year old, I unfortunately have always had a hard time making decisions that would effect the rest of my life (Other than my husband, there was no thought in that decision), Through the years I have worked a multitude of different job titles, and have played around with different business ventures as well. I can honestly say that I can drive a million dollar forklift, while sewing a dress, and choosing the right shade of eye shadow for someones eye color.

One thing that has always stuck with me over the years is writing. Whether it be journaling, or short stories, the experiences that I took from all of the different things I have tried over the years have always been fuel to the fire. With my writing I can take journeys to anywhere in the world and experience anything I can possibly imagine. My favorite part is that the options are endless.

It was not until this year that I kicked self doubt in the ass and decided to take my writing to the public. I look forward to taking this journey and hope that I can say in a few years that I am a published author with multiple books on the NY Times best sellers list!

In the end I encourage you to follow your dreams, no matter how many you have. Try different things, and then try some more. And when you find something that makes your heart flutter stick with it through thick and thin. That will find you your own happily ever after.

I have never been more in awe than when I stood in the basin of the Naval Station and welcomed home the missile guided cruiser that had been home to 300+ sailors who’d been deployed in the Middle East for over 7 months. You stand on the dock surrounded by huge cruisers (ships) and as the returning ship comes into the basin all of the surrounding ships blast their horns randomly, welcoming them home. It’s an amazing thing to experience!

Blog Tour Stop, Teaser and Giveaway for "Room For You" by Beth Ehemann

"Room for You"
by Beth Ehemann

Synopsis:

Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew
how, but something was always missing.

A father for my two girls.

But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree,
playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He
left me more confused than I had ever been.

What if the one thing I thought I needed was the only thing holding me back?

Teaser:

My mind reeled with what I could say or do in that ten feet she had left to walk to make her stay out here and get things back to normal.

Light bulb moment!

“Kacie!” I called out in a loud whisper. By the time she turned around, I had pulled my t-shirt off and dropped my jeans down around my ankles, standing there in nothing but my boxer briefs.

“Oh my God! What are you doing?” She giggled and covered her eyes the way I had earlier.

“I thought it was only fair. I’ve seen you, now you’ve seen me and we can go back to normal.”

She peeked through her fingers at me, closing them quickly when she realized I was in no rush to get dressed again. She continued chuckling and said in a muffled tone, “Put your clothes back on, you lunatic.”
