Happppy Dance!!! I want to say thank you to the wonderful Angie at Angie's Dreamy Reads and the awesome girls at Reviews by Tammy & Kim for nominating me for this fun & exciting blog award!! I've only recently started my book blog... (after much internal debate on my bravery level for publicly putting my reviews and opinions out there on the world wide web and receiving some enthusiastic encouragement from a few of my very dear friends) I hope to have a fun and helpful informative book blog to share with you all.


11 QUESTIONS FROM MY NOMINATORS: (Angie's Dreamy Reads)

1. What is the first book you read and fell in love with?

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets - I read it in 2001, I watched the first HP movie and couldn't wait to see what happened next, so I my mother-in-law bought me the book to read and so the obsession began...


2. If you could pick one book boyfriend to keep who would it be?

OMGosh... that is a really hard question to answer... do I really have to pick just one? I would have to say Christian Grey, because FSoG is what spurred me out of solely reading the paranormal genre... and into this wonderful genre of books, New Adult, Contemporary Romance, Happy/Angsty & always still my paranormal romance/urban fantasy. I couldn't resist the media frenzy about the series... so I gave in and read them.....(multiple times!) But there really are sooo many amazing BBFs..... <3 


3. What is your favorite genre of books?

 Ha! Can I refer to the above question's answer? (New Adult, Contemporary Romance, Happy/Angsty & always still my paranormal romance/urban fantasy)


4. What is your reading goal for this year?

I will be happy to read a good chunk of my ever-growing TBR list, of which my transgressions are vast... then maybe my KBs will not drop from shock when they find out I haven't read their favorite books yet... (I love my KBs!!!)


5. Besides reading what else do you like to do?

Err...What else is there??? Bahahaha, I LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY! <3 My husband is my best friend <3 (call it sappy, it is true nonetheless) I enjoy hiking and    camping. Shopping... Girls day - consisting of Mani/Pedi's, lunch and more shopping.... writing book reviews and BLOGGING is my new obsession!!!  


6. What is your favorite way to read? eReader or paperback?

eReader for sure... it is soo convenient! BUT... I do LOVE the FEEL of a book in my hands & have several on my "Keeper-Shelf"... One of my best friends has caught me on a few occasions smelling a book while at a used book store... (I could try to blame it on not wanting to end up buying a book that has been exposed to smelly odors, but it's really just me, being book-crazy and loving the smell of a book).


7. Tell me five things you love about blogging?

   1. It's incredibly FUN!

   2. I have made some really awesome blogger-friends!!

   3. I have also been able to meet/chat with some pretty spectacular 
       authors/friends!!!

   4. I can share my reviews and opinions on books with anyone who 
       wants to read them :-)

   5. I can totally pimp books and authors that I love! <3



8. Name your favorite authors that fangirl over?
9. Tell me ONE book you can't live without?

I really don't know… can I just pick my iPad Mini and keep my Kindle Library forever?


10. If you could choose to Travel anywhere where would it be?

Europe


11. When you read do you need complete silence or do you like to listen to music...?? Describe your perfect reading environment?

I prefer complete silence, but it's not necessary.

1. If you had to be trapped in a tv show for a month, which show would you chose?

True Blood... Love Eric & Bill <3


2. Kim and I love to talk books and compare guys, so who is your number one book boyfriend? 

I reference question 2 above, from Angie's Dreamy Reads... 


3.  Have you ever used a line or acted out a scene from a book in your own real life?

Yes...


4. What scene from a book would you like to relive? 

There are several books that I'd love to read for the first time again and experience those scenes with for the first time again :-)


5. Do you sing along in the car when you are by yourself?

Yes, totally... I even sing in the car with my husband and son in there... Bless their poor ears! 


6. What actor would you cast as your fave book character? 

Henry Cavill... IS the only choice for Christian Grey


7. What is your fantasy date?

Anything with my husband, I love spending time with him ;)


8. If you were ship wrecked what three items would you want to land on shore with? 

I'd say my family... But I wouldn't want them stranded, so a huge box full of camping/survival supplies (counting the box as 1 item of course lol) & My iPad mini preloaded with tons of books & some form of power to keep stuff charged. 


9. If you had a 25 hour day while everyone else had 24, what would you do with the extra hour? 

READ!!! ;)


10. If you had to wear the underwear of someone famous, who would you chose?

I'd rather go without wearing any than wear someone else's, I don't care how famous they are... 


11. If you had to be somebody's body part, what would you be and whose body?

I really don't know... Sorry, don't mean to be lame, but I like all my own parts LOLs 


11 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:

1.  My husband, Mike is my best friend.

2. I absolutely LOVE being a mother and being here to love, support & 
    encourage my son, Austin and I'm SUPER PROUD of him. 

3. I love my family & friends very much...

4. I love reading...

5. Really enjoying blogging :-)

6. I'd like to get healthy and WILL accomplish that for me and not just as 
    some New Years Resolution.

7. I enjoy beta reading and encouraging my author friends.

8. I love meeting authors and getting my keeper-books signed.

9. I'm super excited about this award and can't wait to pick my 11 
    bloggers to pass this recognition on to ;)

10. I hosted Thanksgiving for my family last year and LOVED it and cannot
      wait to do it again!

11. I can be shy sometimes... Which is contradictory to what some of my 
      friends may think.
